Reopening in April 2021

It’s almost time to reopen the doors of The Gallery Box!

Beach Street Felixstowe is an exciting new destination in Suffolk for food and shopping.

The smell of freshly cooked pizza and waffles fill the air, the sun glistens off the large and inviting shop windows, the pavement is clean and welcoming, the environment feels safe and friendly, the list goes on…

Today, was just as I mentioned above and it was wonderful to be siting in the window of The Gallery Box, working on one of my latest commissions. Whilst the public are not allowed to enter the shop, a few people came to the door to discuss the painting.

Over the month of April, I will be at the shop working on an array of commissions and other outstanding artworks. Be sure to pop by once the shop is open to see what is being worked on that day!

Look forward to seeing you soon!

Open Call Postponed

It is with great sadness that I must announce the postponement of the open call ‘ My Window’.

The open call has been postponed due to Suffolk being placed into tier four.

The next review of the rules will take place on December 30, but with cases of Covid rising in every region of Suffolk and north Essex, is is unlikely the government would be willing to place Suffolk into a lower tier anytime soon.

BUT, keep painting! This exhibition will still go ahead in 2021, so watch this space for the new dates. I know how frustrating this is, but for now, keep painting, creating and making.
